Serious Metal Chunks in Sump Pan

 Next thing to do was to check the oil pan to see what we had in there.  This is what greeted me in the first instance:

I drained all the oil from the sump and ended up with this little lot:

 The 2 bigger lumps are aluminium and the 4 smaller ones, which are slightly bowed, are steel.  At least they are magnetic.

 The 4 smaller pieces are all grooved like this:

 And chamfered on the machined edge:

Pistons are in good shape (no scoring at all):

And clutch looks OK:
